Rabia Hos
Rabia Hos knows what it feels like to be “fresh off the boat” having been born and raised in Turkey. She used her experiences as a young immigrant who arrived during her high school years to committing herself to enhancing educational opportunities of immigrant and refugee adolescent English learners in secondary schools. |
Max Ponticelli
A newer, lecturer in the URI community, Max (he/him) is a graduate of URI's Theatre Department and the URI College of Business. He is the General Manager of The Wilbury Theatre Group, an award-winning, professional theatre company in Providence, RI. A self-described jack-of-all-trades, he instructs a variety of theatre curricula and is involved with a wide range of non-profit and consulting work. |
Anna Santucci
Anna, formerly of URI's office for the Advancement of Teaching & Learning, now holds a position in Teaching and Learning Enhancement at University College Cork, Ireland. Born and raised in Italy, she earned her PhD at Brown University focusing on the integration of theatre and foreign language & culture pedagogies. Her passions include applied theatre, performance theory, critical pedagogy, experiential learning for intercultural development, language education, translation, and interdisciplinary collaborations. |
Anis Triki
Anis is a member of the prestigious URI Business school, with a focus on accounting. Particularly adept with numbers, he anchors the team's efforts in responsible research practices, quality data collection, and analysis. |
Rachel Walshe
A respected director and actor in Rhode Island, Rachel is also graduate of URI's Theatre Department, who has gone on to be a Rhodes Scholar and receive her Masters in theatre. A former Artistic Director of the late Perishable Theatre in Providence, she has worked all over the country teaching and directing. |
Mehmet Yalcin
A member of URI's respected Business School, Mehmet focuses his research at the interface of sustainability and innovation, with the focal point on supply chain ambidexterity. As a student, he took Rachel's Acting for non-Majors course and has been a proponent of theatre training for business leaders ever since. |
